While visiting the Elk Refuge, I came upon this buffalo lying down at the edge of a parking area. When I got out of the car to photograph him resting, he became irritated at my intrusion into his nap and stood up and faced me from about 25 feet. As soon as took this photo from behind the back of the rental car, I quickly got back in and drove away.
